Cory Blalock is a senior associate at Badesch Abramovitch. His legal practice is dedicated to children and families, resolving the myriad of issues that may arise in regard to support, custody, visitation, divorce, property division, and more. Cory’s unique combination of legal experience and social work has provided a solid foundation upon which he has secured favorable results in all areas of family law.
Cory attended Loyola University of Chicago, where he received a Master of Social Work degree. He worked as a clinical therapist to help children and families involved with the Department of Children and Family Services and also represented children in divorce and paternity proceedings through the Office of the Cook County Public Guardian.
Cory received his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2007 and became an associate at Badesch Abramovitch upon his graduation. He is a proud member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, American Bar Association, and National Association of Social Workers.
